It's a question that is not easy to answer...as I am 99.9999% sure Holy was on steroids during his "prime". Povetkin also had his "prime" right after Klitschko fight when he started knocking his opponents right and left....In my opinion they both are very comparable fighters......Let's not forget also that, what most of us are calling 90' "golden era of boxing" was more like "Niddle era of boxing" ...Few days ago I've read a interview with Tommy Morrison, which just proved what I was always suspecting about that era.... He was very honest about Steroids, He admitted to taking them and said that back then they didn't test "for steroids"..so of course most of them were taking it.....Lou Duva wrote in his book, they,ve found a niddle in Golota's hotel room....When he was getting ready to fight Lennox...It's all there if you have a good catchy eye...What a difference when you look at heavyweight fights from 90' and today......So yeah Holyfield beat Tyson.....but ............

No, Holy was too easy to hit and was in tougher fights v fighters less skiled than Povetkin, Holy never really faced a fighter that could hook like Pov other than Bowe and he ate those inside shots often in his three bouts v Bowe, I feel a fight v Povetkin would be like those fights on the inside, Povetkin is better than Tyson was during the 90`s.
32 y.o Pov was better than Tyson from 90 ies but not better than Tyson from 1988. I think Frazier vs 32 y.o Pov too had more chances to win than Pov 32-34 y.o versions.
