Danielle Perkins vs. Monika Harrison II, 8x2" rounds @ heavyweight

 

Both ladies are novices in their late thirties. Harrison took her first loss via UD4 to Perkins in the latter's pro debut last August but the commentator says that it was a close thing and came down to work rate. Monika was apparently going through a change in trainer, weight drain and some personal stuff and promises to be a 'different fighter' tonight and show her superior class.

 

10-9 Perkins, the leanly muscular southpaw jabbing smoothly while leaning back with a little rhythmic sway, boxing tall. Harrison not able to accomplish much yet.

 

20-18 Perkins, just luring Harrison along, rolling with her wild slashing haymaker flurries to ride them with hip-swivels, countering with a few scooping left uppercuts on the body. Very undisciplined stuff from Harrison, already not in particularly good physical shape and wasting lots of energy.
