Mugabi for me. And by KO/TKO. He was a machine and to be honest I think he would have temporarily ruled the MW division if it hadn’t been for the greatest MW of the past 50 years. Barkley was beaten by a blown up LW well past his prime whilst he was in the midst of his own.

    Barkley breaks him.

Everything about Mugabi is overrated as hell.

What a fight! I'd go for Barkley by stoppage by the 4th after nearly being stopped himself one point.

Barkley, the more proven tougher guy,may find himself down but not out, stops the Beast in 10.

I'll go with Mugabi in this one. Prior to his great fight with
Hagler , Mugabi was the real deal, and he gave Hagler hell
    early on in that fight.
Yes I know this wasn't prime Hagler, but he did take
tremendous punches from Hagler better than Hearns
did, and much better punches than what stopped him
    against Norris and Thomas.
Boxing they say is 90% mental, when Mugabi lost
his edge (Or Hagler took it from him .) for all piratical purposes
he was finished. With the aura of invincibility stripped he
clearly wasn't the same destructive force that destroyed
some of the toughest Philly fighters of the era in their primes.
(One has to know just how good those fighters were from Philly,
    Mugabi steam rolled them.)
I see no reason Mugabi wouldn't duplicate to Barkley what
    Benn did to him.
The "Beast" stops the "The Blade" in a very similar way
    as the "Dark Destroyer".
Tough fight early on, Mugabi catches Barkley
    eventually with something clean fights
over in 6-8 rds for The Beast".

Mugabi was never again even half the fighter he was.... post hagler.

Everything went the glistening muscle, chin, and confidence....he looked like a guy who could barely walk straight vs mclellan and norris......a prime mugabi id see crushing norris

This fight would not go past round 2 is what I think. Barkley had the champions mindset and Mugabi the huge punch, but Barkley had a punch also and I think he was smarter. I think he stops Mugabi in a wild fight.

Good fight until Barkley starts boxing. By the end of it Mugambi is realing around the ring absorbing blows from the outside.

Barkley would batter him into a stoppage.

Barkley grinds him down. Aside from pure punching power, Barkley has every edge.

I really don’t know who wins this but I can’t see it lasting too long either way. Probably be an exciting scrap for three rounds or less.
