Aries vs. Aries, this is going to be a blood bath. Although I lean towards a focused Matias here.

Oh yeah..... Ponce is going to absolutely massacre Ritson.:deal:

Disagree on both counts. Jukembayev should dismantle Matias quite comfortably, while Ponce isn't any better than Ritson and whoever is the home fighter will get the decision.

    Clearly I'm a fan of Jukembayev's....
Batyrzhan Jukembayev: 777 The Lucky Hand Of Kazakhstan-The Moyynkumsky District Fragmenter.

But Matias has beaten guys with skillsets that almost or do equal his. Dadashev, tragedy aside, was a top notch win, against an incredibly skilled operator, and while Hawkins is not some next level guy, he's quite skilled, and isn't easy to look good against. Matias looked sensational. Then when you take into consideration, these two are going to be coming at one another, as opposed to one of them going backward. It could come down to who has more grit. and a bigger punch. As far as the loss to Ananyan goes., It's forgivable, for obvious reasons, and it's arguable he even deserved that loss. Matias was quite dominant for the first half of the fight. He merely gassed himself out. Matias' skills are quite underrated,

Ponce-Ritson isn't a forgone conclusion, but it'll probably be a war, and the guy with the bigger punch at 140 will probably take it, and that is Ponce.

I'm a big fan of Matias and was very disappointed by the loss to Ananyan, however understandable. That's another thing entirely, whether he'll be able to fight with the same intensity as in the Dadashev fight going forward. He looked great against Hawkins, so hopefully that's the case. Mike Perez was never the same after the Abdusalamov fight, and his bout with Takam is a mirror image of Matias-Ananyan. I just think Jukembayev has the tools to make Matias pay for his Sergio Martinez impression.

Ritson got schooled by Vazquez but that didn't stop the judges scoring the fight in his favour. Ponce has had a few close decisions go his way while looking unspectacular.

Both fights should be enjoyable wars and I really hope they end up happening.

was best boxer he had in the ring yet.

Interestingly, if matchup with Dadashev looked 50/50 then Ananyan looked picked for clear B side and appeared undervalued by matchmaker and Subriel team.

Perez looks that didn't had intent to disable permanently, just there is thing like : a lot of good KO artists never had disabled anyone permanently and no one had died while a lot of cases when multiple blows might cause it even if guy wasn't down.
    Perez, Subriel etc alike fights.

Well if boxer is this :
    https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/729904

then looks that he had been matchuped properly. He didn't had anyone at Dadashev level in the ring yet.
Looks will be tough fight for both of them.
