This one. Absolutely mental if you want pure back and forth action with a dramatic ending.

Ward has a number of fights that are underrated, or underdiscussed. The Gatti trilogy as a whole is overrated, the 2nd fight was a shutout and the 3rd was a good but one-sided fight. His bouts with Shea Neary and Antonio Diaz were both excellent fights. His win over Reggie Green was a good one too.

All great choices. Ward-Diaz slips through most minds when talking great fights of recent years. Same with Ward-Green, Ward-Neary.

This fight is underrated AF. Absolute banger that no one ever talks about. 2nd fight was great too.

IMO Foreman-Lyle deserves to be mentioned among fights like Hagler-Hearns and Gatti-Ward, what a war!

Also probably the worst stoppage (or lack thereof) in boxing history.

Excellent choice,Mike ! Yes,it was one great scrap. Compulsive viewing from start to finish, and who knows who would have turned out the winner if John had n't have suffered that horrible swelling over his eye.

Remember Green constantly using his head think that may have caused the swelling

Thanks Stevie, another British fight that I well remember watching and was also a thriller , in that 1 fighter was a mile behind and came storming back to force a stoppage, and it was a FW fight between , Vernon Sollas ( fought like FW Conteh ) and a dour, tough, implacable fighter from Wales , Les Pickett, Sollas built up what seemed like a unsalable lead, with text book boxing, and clever foot work, only for Pickett to put unrelenting pressure on Sollas for the last rounds of the duel, suffice it to say, Sollas wilted under such a barrage and was stopped in the last round ( not sure, memory not great ) in one of the best fights I have seen. keep well buddy.
