OP theory is that Wilder is the GOAT technician who used his boxing skills to KO every man he faced, including a Muhammad Ali equalling title reign.

It's a controversial theory, but it remains a possibility, if that's true Deontay Wilder gets a higher ATG ranking, because he did it without the assumed genetic advantage of being the Hardest Puncher to Ever Walk Earth

Are people still arguing about this ? Lmao

Wilder clearly hits harder in terms of 1 punch power. Its just that Joshua can put his shots together much better and is several levels beyond him in skill and boxing ability. Joshua would wipe the floor with him if they ever fought.

But regardless Eric Molina and Dominic Breazeale BOTH stated Wilder hits significantly harder than Aj. David Haye and other sparring partners claim Wilder posses monstrous punching power. Debate over.

Naw, not over, because again, you are saying more than you know.

Wilder give the perception of big one punch power because he over-commits. Joshua doesn't. Joshua is much more along the lines of a real fighter. He "puts shots together" by not committing to one.

of course Joshua doesn't over commit like Wilder but regardless he wont ever do it, its not his style and he's more textbook and technically better. Joshua doesnt have a dynamic long range right hand like Wilder. Maybe he would hit harder than Wilder if he did. Or maybe he wouldn't. We dont know. But we do know one thing, Its Wilder Style. Comparing both fighters. Wilder generates more power.

But he's still a one trick pony which is why he's avoided almost all of the top 10 fighters. He would have been exposed earlier if he fought decent opponents back to back

6'03" George Foreman is a slower stationary target that can KO shorter-Smaller opponents

Muhammad Ali will not quit toying vs Deontay Wilder, but he is not as tall as Tyson Fury to keep Wilder out of range.

If you want to beat Wilder pick a taller opponent who can use his range to keep Wilder outside, someone like Nicolai Valuev will do better vs Deontay Wilder than anybody who is shorter than Deontay Wilder, that is the main reason Deontay Wilder KOed everybody he faced, he violates range (where are all boxing fundamentals apply) sends his hypersonic right hand through it all, right at the temple of the soon to be unconscious victim.

Never forget the GOD-like will of Wilder, when dropped he gets back to fight and that deadly Right Hand will keep coming, no way a shorter opponent can defeat Deontay Wilder.

He don't quit, spit mouth pieces...walk away or hold ropes and wish he was somewhere else...he is there to deliver the right hand to his opponents temple...nothing else will happen

Breazeal has been rocked by cruiserweights, could have been stopped by Joshua 3rd round but ref broke action, Breazeale was dancing Duhaupas was not dropped by Wilder, flattended cold by Poverkin, Stiverne couldn't be stopped by Wilder until his pathetic shape in the rematch, got dropped by Derrick Rossy in his next fight and stopped repeatedly sing

his straight right is deadly if you give him room to fully leverage it like we saw against brazeale, the rest of his punches arent very hard at all. He's like a human sniper rifle with that straight right.
