Not sure about that, bit like Lennox, after his loss he kinda changed his style a little.
Don't forget, Klitschko went on a massive winning streak after his early kos.

Jimmy Young. His decline after losing a very close one to Ken Norton was nothing short of alarming. One year post Norton losing twice to Ossie Ocasio. And no disrespect to 'Jaws' but he was nowhere near Ken's class.

 

Klitschko after Sanders. He stopped trying to be a destroyer type and adopted a much more technical and conservative approach. You could argue that Sanders and Steward shaped peak Wlad.

Bert Cooper after Mercer. They beat the living **** out of each other. Mercer actually looked worse than Cooper but mentally Mercer was ok whereas Cooper seemed to fold after that every time it looked like he'd have to dig deep.

Floyd ruined Hatton who had up to that point demonstrated a very good chin going toe to toe with Tszyu and Collazo but after the Floyd stoppage his punch resistance was gone, seem to remember even Malignaggi rocked him.

I think the Famechon first fight was an inspired performance. He’d lost on a dominant decision to Al Colter before that even. Probably peaked around the time of the Rose fight. He said that the only fight he didn’t enjoy as far as the fight, everything surrounding it etc; was Famechon II. I think there was too much pressure on him to win at that point. In Famechon I he was a decided underdog.

 

Hopkins had good power especially at middleweight.
