I think at this point Wilder is a complete unknown, how will he react in a live firefight situation? If he returns to his pre-Fury type mode I'd say he lands on a very hittable Ruiz and puts him away. If he's as damaged as his comments have revealed he goes out in a beating around 8. I think it totally behooves Wilder to have a tomato can tune up as soon as possible.
It's a good match up. I think if they fight in 2021, the winner deserves to be next in line to face the winner of Fury-Joshua (if that one happens).
Wilder-Ruiz would be a war, the sort of fight that needs to end up in LA. Wilder has a good fanbase in LA after his fight with Fury and the Mexicans will come out and support Ruiz.

this seems like a baseless rumour. the link you provided is dead and in interviews to combate ESPN ruiz said he has no plans beyond his fight with arreola.
