What's with the destain for Andrade? He doesn't seem to be a knucklehead like Broner or Tank. Doesn't get put on a pedestal by over the top fan boys. Seems to be content playing in the background, under the radar.
I don’t understand the hatred for this guy. He’s completely mismanaged his career and I don’t understand his choice of a opponents but he’s like able and seems like a pretty cool guy. Was disappointed the BJS fight was canceled but it wasn’t his fault. I do t remember the last time I saw him in a meaningful fight. If he gets KOd, will it even make the sporting news?
Andrade just hasn't looked as impressive up at 160 to me as he did down at 154. I actually admired his skills down at 154 but at 160 it's more his awkwardness that makes him so difficult to deal with. He's always been awkward but he seems slower and not as fluid and he doesn't put his shots together as smoothly.
Andrade is hated because he behaves like a diva during negotiations, has boring fights and has wasted away his career. his opponent in this case is likable and has a fan-friendly style, so thats why the hate is even stronger than usual. That being said im sure andrade will win this fight rather easily, williams is tailor made for him. hopefully this win will make him more active and gives him a little buzz
I like Boo Boo but this is going to be a barn burner and he most likely is the one set on fire and out of the fight before the 10th round.
Andrade too skilled, too good, people will be saying “Williams seemed off”, “what was wrong with Williams”, “I knew he was a bum”, etc etc after this fight.
I love everyone's optimism here, but I fear that Williams will hurt him early. Meaning Andrade will shell up and squeak out a close decision. While also putting us all to sleep.
I like a good underdog story. Guys coming back after a couple of losses and living up to their initial promise. Would be interesting to see what Booboo has if he gets in strife. TBH Williams is a fun fighter to watch, miles more exciting than Booboo.
