Kris George stepping up from welter straight after the Hammond fight would outpoint Mahoney. No worries.

But with the layoff and Mahoney looking sharp and fit. Really evens the playing field.

Never seen Wallace but these Northern Irish lads are usually well schooled. Leti is a hard swinging stocky tank of a man so he will keep him on his toes for sure.


Duncan has done a great job here. He has crafted some excellent domestic cards over the years.

* No word yet MP but one fight i hoped has been made is Jack Brubaker vs Steve Sparks. Paro has wisely avoided Sparks . This is at 147 lbs and like Telford found out Spark has to win by ko . Its on the Gallen vs Browne undercard.
* If Brock Jarvis wins April 23 it is likely to push Jarvis into an eliminator to face the winner of Kid Galahad vs James Parker for the vacant IBF FW Title.

If Breidis vacates to campaign at heavyweight, no reason #3 Opetaia and #6 David Light couldn't get it on for the vacant title with the no1 and no2 spots vacant.

IBF is corrupt as any of them. Show them the money and they will make it happen.

 

Yes, come on IBF. Give us Jai Opetaia v David Light for the IBF Cruiser world title if Breidis vacates. I'm looking forward to uttering the words we all enjoy hearing (well, most of us) "Kiwi down!"

Don't think he's anywhere near prime but it will be good to have Lenny back in the mix domestically to finish off his career after a break.

He's been in some devastating wars so they (and he) need to be mindful of his health from here.

But he's the guy I wanted to see Horndog face first up after losing to Bud Crawford. He would have given Horndog tough rounds before fading. Instead Team Horndog went for Mundine & the rest is history. As was Horndog's career from that point on.

Interesting that both Lenny & Kris George have come out of retirement. Both Lenny & Kris George's opponent have been mentioned as possible opponents for Timmy Tool Train in the past so perhaps they think there's money to be made if they can pick up some wins.
