George Foreman was the meanest I've seen outside of Roberto Duran.

Joe Louis for sure, when he had someone hurt, there was no chance he was going to let him survive.

Wilfredo Gomez is probably top for me, when he smelt blood the fight was over.

He isn't mentioned above, but Sugar Ray Robinson's killer instinct is underappreciated. He is known for being the dancing master with the beautiful footwork, combinations etc. But he could be an absolute savage when he wanted to, St Valentine's day massacre shows how ruthless and aggressive he could be at times. And all of those beautiful combinations that people praise him for sent fighters to kingdom come (One of them literally).

If you pissed Ezzard Charles off you weren't seeing the final bell.

Thought of him right away, and Zárate. I’d mention Trinidad too was a lethal finisher with great killer instinct.

Quite the contrary in fact. Historians say after Baroudi, Ezzards lack of a killer instinct was his downfall and #1 fan complaint. They actually questioned whether his heart was in the game and this is why he was so praised for the 1st Marciano fight.

While he may have lost it after killing someone, he certainly had plenty before. And even after, he was still destroying people at 175. His performance vs Lesnevich was praised for its mercilessness, especially given his supposed lack of power there.

I guess it's no surprise that I'd be the one to mention Bob Fitzsimmons.

Not a great, but Nigel Benn was always someone that went all in to KO his opponent when he thought that he had them hurt - often to his own detriment as he often lost form and became wild and counterable. When I was growing up, watching the likes of him and Eubank on ITV, they used to say that Nigel was extremely dangerous when you had him hurt.
