Did Mike Tyson or George Foreman ever hit as hard as Francis Ngannou?

Did Mike Tyson or George Foreman ever hit as hard as Francis Ngannou when he knocked out Alistair Overeem? Is it possible that either of them had the same knock out power weighing only 220 lbs as the 260 lbs Francis Ngannou does? I believe that Tyson on average hit harder than Francis because his punch mechanics were better but Mike and George were not one punch KO artists and Francis knocked Overeem with a devastating blow, even though the smaller MMA gloves add more impact to shots, did George or Mike ever throw a single shot as hard as the uppercut Francis knocked Overeem out with?

 

Probably yes. Remember the gloves are different, if tyson or foreman hit someone wearing those gloves it would probably be equally devastating

 

Yes I'd say so. Ngannou hits hard but he's wafting all over the place like a spaz. Tyson and Foreman use a kinetic chain like you're supposed to. Furthermore, and I can't stress this enough, Foreman and Tyson are like trained snipers compared to Ngannou's accuracy.

 

Chuck Liddell knocked out a younger and fresher version of Overeem. Liddell was a 205 pounder.

 

Nowadays a stiff breeze can KO Overeem.

 

It's easier to KO MMA fighters than boxers because MMA guys train in a multitude of styles and aren't as accustomed to getting punched in the head as boxers who spar day in day out so their body and mind are better acclimatised to punches to the head.
Look at Conor McGregor, in MMA he was one of the hardest P4P punchers MMA has seen but when he got in the boxing ring looked like he couldn't crack an egg.

 

Boxing is and will always be superior when it comes to MMA.

Both Tyson and Foreman hit harder then him.

 

Punching in boxing matches is on average superior to MMA but overall MMA fighters display more skill in terms of their ground games and kicking etc.

Against a still object i think ngannou hits harder but it really don’t matter , I’m sure kimbo slice probably generated the same amount of power as tyson. But in an actual fight with a moving target what made tyson and foreman devastating was the prescision and timing to land a hard blow you cant see.

And Getting hit with heavyshots from tyson in bunches is more devastating than a single punch from a Francis, if your a fellow hw that is, the average person excluded.

 

There`s some logic to that, MMA punches don`t seem to land as clean as boxers punches.
