Tyson Fury pours water on Anthony Joshua fight as he says he’s drinking 12 pints of lager a day, not eating or training. “Whatever they say is very unimportant to me because, until I have a fight date and a hell-of-a-lot of money in my pocket, there is no fight. “Will I be fighting Joshua in the next ten minutes? No. Do I think the fight will eventually happen? Yes, it has to happen. Do I think it is next or imminent? No." Fury stated. Does this mean the fight is off? OH OHHH !! wouldn't surprise me.. a pandemic is probably the worse thing possible for a person with his mental state to handle.
I`ll change the title to the subject of this vid as it`s still connected but adds another angle to this. This content is protected This content is protected
Fury doesn’t want to fight Joshua! Unlike Wilder, Fury can’t see how he’s going to share a ring with AJ without having to get into a life & death, brutal fight which, despite all his talk, he’s not up for. He knew he could dance and frustrate Wlad and steal a victory on points without ever having to go toe to toe or get within range of Klitschko’s sledgehammer right hand. He knew he could bully Wilder who has no game other than telegraphed looping Hail Mary right hand that has to travel from Alabama to Seattle via Newfoundland to reach its target. Fury cannot see any way that he won’t get beat up against Joshua, he knows he can’t film flam, herky jerky, floppy wrist jab his way through 12 rounds against AJ and he knows he can’t bully him without taking heavy fire! If in fact I mean ‘IF’ Fury ever signs to fight Joshua he will know that the end is nigh for the Gypsy King myth! In short, Fury is shizzing himself!!
Fury also added this: I will never box in Britain again, my home city now is Vegas, I've had my last three fights there. I intend to stay there and end my career over there." So much for valuing his fans eh! People from Manchester and across the U.K. have spent hard earned cash they can ill afford during a decade of austerity to support Fury and he treats them with disdain.
He said he'd knock Klitschko out, he didn't. He said in the build up to the first Wilder fight that he'd knock him out, he didn't. Let's not pick and choose.
That would not be good for boxing, AJ v Fury will be the biggest fight in British boxing history and will unify the titles.
