I was hoping some people would be interested in this short documentary I've made about heavyweight boxer, David Price. I filmed and interviewed David in the run up to his last two fights (against Dave Allen and Derek Chisora) and this is what we've produced.

Our approach was to match the reality of being in a boxing ring through visuals – erratic movement, objects shifting in and out of focus with an emphasis on small margins. Audio from interviews with David and his trainer, Joe McNally, accompany the visuals – both breaking down the realities of what it is to be a boxer. It’s a sport that can be portrayed as glossy at times, but it’s not all knock-out reels – it’s simply a job for many. A punishing job, physically and mentally. Hopefully we've captured the essence of this side of boxing with this short.

As a matter of interest, was that Johnny Cooke v Brian McCaffery at the start ?

That was good mate, slow in bits but certainly interesting hearing David and his trainers views.

Does Price have designs on boxing again?

Looks great looking forward to the full documentary/movie.
I love big Pricey as do all my mates from all over the uk. He is sound as ****, real class act which is refreshing these days.

I texted the link to Andy Kerr. I know he likes Big Pricey and he was quite happy and gonna give it a watch. He works for beIN sports over in Qatar these days.
