That's near as bad a scorecard I have ever seen, that was pretty clear a Gonzalez win and there isn't even an argument that Estrada won 7 rounds.

It's as bad as Pernell-Chavez, Rios-Abril and every other bull**** boxing has threw up. Absolute joke of a sport.

 

Any cry of robbery is nonsense. I just watched this as a Gonzalez fan without bothering with the commentary and I thought Estrada earned it. He was the crisper, harder hitter, was more effective to the body, and I preferred his posture--he seemed to want the fight more than Gonzalez did. 117-111 was a little long but nowhere near the worst card I have seen. I'm fine with the rubber-match, though Rungvisai deserves it first.

 

Think you need a brain s an never mind glasses, absolutely woeful card. Even Estrada's team had him needing a KO with three rounds left.

BOOOO!!! 117 - 111? Really bad. Chocolatito won that fight. Not the worst decision ever, but pretty poor nonetheless.

 

chocolatito won the fight the 117-111 card was just plain dumb its a type of card canelo would get in a close fight lol... estrada got corruption and favortism by being the mexican fighter with more marketability plus hearn on his side helped.

 

It was a fantastic fight between two great warriors. But, Chocolatito edged it. The 117-111 card for Estrada was just plain disgraceful.

It was a close, clear win for Gonzalez. I hesitate to use the word robbery on account of being a JFE fan, but I also don't feel like you could give the fight to Estrada. Not even a draw.

 

If you use consensus scoring, and score the fight row by row across the three scorecards, you get 114-114 and a draw. In my opinion, any SD score should be rescored using consensus scoring to find a definite winner or score the fight as a draw rather than a SD. A draw and a rematch would have been the right decision judging by how the three judges saw the fight but summarising their scores row by row rather than by column.
