That's near as bad a scorecard I have ever seen, that was pretty clear a Gonzalez win and there isn't even an argument that Estrada won 7 rounds.

It's as bad as Pernell-Chavez, Rios-Abril and every other bull**** boxing has threw up. Absolute joke of a sport.

Any cry of robbery is nonsense. I just watched this as a Gonzalez fan without bothering with the commentary and I thought Estrada earned it. He was the crisper, harder hitter, was more effective to the body, and I preferred his posture--he seemed to want the fight more than Gonzalez did. 117-111 was a little long but nowhere near the worst card I have seen. I'm fine with the rubber-match, though Rungvisai deserves it first.

Think you need a brain s an never mind glasses, absolutely woeful card. Even Estrada's team had him needing a KO with three rounds left.

My brain is fine, it's not overwhelmed or short circuited by seeing a man move his hands really fast, which seems to be a pattern with most people scoring Gonzalez matches. It's like a sleight of hand trick.... "If I just unleash a maelstrom of punches, maybe I'll confuse the viewers and the judges into thinking I'm actually landing all of them!!!!!" This happened with the first Sor Rungvisai match, which Sor Rungvisai clearly won, and the fact that there's people who think he won the Cuadras and first Estrada matches with the greatest of ease is also perplexing. This is the only explanation I can come up with. You're all mesmerized by a whirling dervish coming forward speed bagging his opponents gloves and getting every 5th or 6th punch to connect. Meanwhile, you all think every one of them landed. You're being bamboozled.;)

Quantity trumps quality if the quantity is far greater than the opponent's. Not if they're on a damn near equal footing like these two. Then it comes down to quality. Most of the true quality was coming from Estrada.

BOOOO!!! 117 - 111? Really bad. Chocolatito won that fight. Not the worst decision ever, but pretty poor nonetheless.

chocolatito won the fight the 117-111 card was just plain dumb its a type of card canelo would get in a close fight lol... estrada got corruption and favortism by being the mexican fighter with more marketability plus hearn on his side helped.

I thought Choclatito won a close but clear decision. That 117-111 really sours an otherwise classic fight. This is how I scored it. I really thought Choclatito pulled away in the middle rounds.

It was a fantastic fight between two great warriors. But, Chocolatito edged it. The 117-111 card for Estrada was just plain disgraceful.

Great fight. Skilful and gutsy. Didn't expect any less.

Scored it a draw. Will re-watch.

Carlos Sucre, who scored it 117-111 for Estrada, gave the Mexican rounds 8-12...

It was a close, clear win for Gonzalez. I hesitate to use the word robbery on account of being a JFE fan, but I also don't feel like you could give the fight to Estrada. Not even a draw.
