Took the words right outta my mouth... lol

People forget that Mike Tyson in his prime probably had the best head movement in the history of boxing (or for a HW at the very least), his entire upper body movement actually was remarkable. And anyone who's been in the ring knows size doesn't mean everything, not to mention you are giving Kid Dynamite one hell of a big target area to the body and you are pitting him against a guy with very little head movement himself... Klitschko would be like T-Ball for a young Tyson, add Cus D'Amato and I'll even take an 18 year old Tyson as they'd break Vitali down and finish him off without question...

Do you guys that think Vitali is too tall also believe Valuev would beat Tyson???

Foreman destroyed him with power not size, just like Shavers did he used power.

ehh... HOlmes was a little bit past his prime when he fought Tyson in the late eighties wasent he? I think he was!!!

MIcheal Spinks, the skinny cruiser, would have beaten Vitali ? I seriously doubt it.

Of couse I have seen none of Spinks fights except the one against Tyson. He was mentally beaten before the fight ever began. Is this the guy who would have beaten Vitali ?

So Tysons greatest wins was over Holmes and Spinks ? Wauw.

If he was the greatest of all time it surely wasent because of his opposition. And people are picking on Calzaghe for not fighting quality opposition.

What did Vitali do to make himself elite? You just have to look at him in order to determine that. No big names on his opposition resume.

JUST LIKE TYSON. No big names on HIS list of DEFEATED opposition. But he was great. (Just watch his fights.) But he never beat any Legends IN THEIR PRIME.:deal

You do realize that by saying that you've just rendered your entire opinion as useless... It's kinda like saying I don't watch the American League in Baseball but I've heard of the Devil Rays, and I doubt that there's any way they'll make the '08 MLB Play Offs... FYI Tyson, in his prime, beat the best of the best HW's that were available at the time... Vitali never defeated 1 World Champion, nor did he ever defend against the #1 Contender... Come on... an out of shape ready to retire Kirk Johnson (look at his opposition after the Vitali fight), then Corrie Sanders to become the Paper Champ, and then Danny Williams??? Seriously now...

A prime Mike Tyson is one of the best HW's of all time. If not the best.

He was so ****in fast and had so much power combined with tremendous endurance and a hell of a chin.

    Tyson TKO6 Vitaly.

Tyson's chances would not be very high.

it could be a tough fight to predict.

but i think a lot of people are forgetting that, without the lewis fight, vitali klitschko's name wouldn't even be mentioned right now.

to be fair to lewis, i felt he wasn't in trim when he fought VK, and started slowly and with disinterest.

even though i'm a fan of klitschko, i think a prime lewis would have rewritten that fight. i think klitschko would have been competitive, but i consider lewis a classier fighter.

People really have a hard time disseminating between greatness in accomplishments and head to head ability. Tyson is greater than Vitali at what he has achieved but head to head is entirely different. Vitali is HUGE! Especially next to Tyson, Vitali has an iron chin and I could definitley see him jabbing to a UD. Being very herky jerky and tall I would envisage Mike having a hard time hitting him to the head.

Vitali would have a great chance in this fight and I could certainly see him winning by points.

Ok let me say first of all, Vitali's height and size wouldn't be a huge factor. Tyson has, throughout his career, faced taller and bigger opponents. Tyson used to say that he considered his smaller size an advantage. Also don't forget, in his prime, he wasn't just a slugger, he was an excellent boxer as well and he could take it the distance. Add to that, he was lightening quick, and hit like a truck.

    Tyson by KO or UD.

LMAO... Valuev is even HUGE-ER, and considering height and reach are about the only advantages Vitali would carry into a Tyson Fight (Tyson also had a killer jab that he set a lot of devestating combinations up with, and even effectively used his jab against taller opposition, so...); Would you then say the same about Valuev as you are with Vitali Klitschko??? I doubt it...

Well I think that a 22 year old Tyson would beat a prime Vitali.
And I think that that would have been the best opponent that he ever beat then.

Or do you think that Michael Spinks 1988 version was better than Vitali in his prime. ?

Or the 39 year old Holmes ?

Well the 90 seconds of Michael Spinks I saw in the 1988 fight is not something that really scares me, I have to admit.

But according to you those were his best wins then ? Ok.
