Wlad was 39,8 against Fury. And yeah he was in better shape for Joshua for sure.

Did he comprehensively outbox Vlad? I remember him outboxing Vlad in a very close 2/3 point fight where Fury landed 7/8 punches a round to Vlads 5.

Yeah the worst HW Championship fight in the history. Fury won by 3 points on 2 of the referees and 4 points on the other one.
If you think that was schooling or embarrassing, then you know nothing. Fury landed just a few more arm punches in most round to edge them.
Fury won because Wlad was not there mentally, on top of that he have a bad night, and his tactic was garbage.
Still Fury run twice from the rematch. Yeah he ducked twice 40 years old - fact.
And Klitschko was way better prepared and ready to let his punches go against Joshua. Yeah he was old and way past it, but he was the same for Fury as well.
Klitschko from Joshua fight would 100% stopped Fury, simply because he let his punches go, something he didn`t do against Fury.

This guy knows nothing. I mean he didn`t even try to answer. Did Fury duck Klitschko twice? Yeah he did.
People on here really knows nothing.
If Ruiz refused to fight Joshua and run like Fury did from the rematch, people on here would still smash Joshua and say he can`t win against Ruiz. I mean this was 90% of the opinion on here, before Joshua actually school Ruiz in the rematch.
I expect the same thing would have happen if Fury have the bravery to step for the rematch with Klitschko, but the sore loser run twice.
And then people slam Joshua win over Klitschko as worst, when he actually fight the better version of Klitschko.

Again that version of Klitschko would have more than probably beat Fury.

He did indeed. But how much of that was Wilder?

Despite Wilders reputation, hes usually a relatively big draw. He drew well over a million views in meaningless throwaway fights (Like against Washington for example).

I imagine he played a massive part in the views n buys for their fight. Id also expect that an AJ Wilder fight at that time would have well eclipsed Furys numbers... like he did when he fought their common opponent in Wlad. I dont know the exact numbers but pretty sure AJ set the british ppv record for that fight.

But Im not implying Fury is a bad draw. Hes just not as big of one as AJ.

I did say it was a boring fight not something to watch more than once but yeah Fury outboxed him and clowned him, it’s a reason why I mentioned the mental aspects of the fight game Wlad wasn’t off his game Fury threw him off his game was it an all time classic showing nah but it’s definitely a lesson in the art of war and beating your opponent before the fight even starts..

Winning by 3 rounds on the majority of the judges ain`t outboxing and clowning. At least in my mind.
As far as the mental part, it has nothing to do with Fury.
The stuff started when his girlfriend gave birth. You know child effect people differently, and he have big family problems with her.
That was the mental problem, not that the mighty Fury scared him.
The whole idea that someone can scary someone with 60+ professional fight its a complete b.c. Klitschko was used to this tactic, and have played that role many times.

Anyway Fury won fair and square. I gave him props for that. I give him credits. I`m not going to lie i expected Klitschko to win. But it wasn't the Fury that surprise me with his game, it was Klitschko who was way below his usual level. You know that happen.
Its obviously he was past it very much, but as i said i still believe he wasn`t on his level, even for his year at that night.
The rematch could tell us the truth, but you know Fury run twice from it. He was caught using PED. And he lost all credibility to me.
This was the whole thing that i started the ran.
We should not flood the thread with b.c. spam. Let it be Fury - Joshua, not Klitschko - Fury or Klitschko - Joshua.

Yes he lost the IBF belt 10 days after winning it as would not accept mandatory challenge of Vyacheslav Glazkov.

Using your theory, Tommy Burns reign as champion for 33 months was not real as he had not actually beaten the man who beat the man AKA Jim Jefferies, likewise Jack Johnson who beat Burns was not the world heavyweight until 19 months after he won the title, until he fought Jefferies who came out of a 5 year retirement.

I understand what you say however i disagree.

Another fact is that since 1960s when start of alphabet titles were created, for long periods of our sports history the man who beat the man line of title descent has been fragmented, if the AJ vs Fury bout happens soon we of course will have a undisputed champion.

When I first thought about this fight my gut feeling was fury clear boring ud.

AJ can’t keep the distance and win on the outside like he did against the likes of Parker or Ruiz 2.

He can’t set traps for fury who is too smart and elusive. Plus he showed against wilder that he’s extremely difficult to land cleanly on.

I’m struggling here to give AJ much hope. Unless this new kronk style fury has makes him careless and he gets caught exchanging?

im going fury via late stoppage or clear ud

At some point in this fight team AJ will realise he’s way behind on points and will need to empty the tank on fury in desperation which will probably be the best round of the fight

Let’s be clear: no one knows who will win this fight, that’s what makes it so tantalising.

Anyone sure of a result either way is laden with bias.

I like both fighters, so I can’t call it. One may outclass the other, or it may be very close. I don’t think there’s enough information to call it either way.

Fury is clearly more skilful and part of me has bought into his supernatural hype. But AJ’s uppercuts could ruin him.

It could go either way, that’s why it’s exciting. And it will bring relevance to the sport.

I think Joshua will be more of a test for fury and wilder was

but I still lean towards Fury to overwhelm and outbox Joshua

I see Fury TKOing Joshua late

Based on everything that I have seen between the two, I will pick Fury by unanimous decision.

However, I am a Joshua fan as well, I give him all the respect, and it is not out of the question that he comes up with something knew in the play book and pulls the upset.

    Two good fighters.

Foreman destroyed Frazier 2X and Norton, yet those are considered two of Ali's greatest opponents. What was your point besides to take a dig at Wlad?

Sanders, a lefty who could punch, caught Wlad cold and stopped him. Wlad was green when he gassed vs Purrity. Vs. Brew something strange happened in that one. Louis was stopped by a fading Schmeling on the way up. L Lewis had two KO losses that he avenged. As Whyte says, it's HW boxing.

Now you're reaching... and way too far.
They were both past their best.
