Quality over quantity tho, wins over Gvozdyk and Bivol would make for an impressive resume, both undefeated elite fighters.

But,,,? I;m confused , I thought because Canelo moved up & "wiped out("lol) a washed up compliant , cash hungry Kovalev that he was after chasing belts & dominating divisions ? So naturally Canelo dominating Artur would be something to see...akin to a Chihuahua mauling a Bengal Tiger ....

How comes Callum Smith and Kovalev weren't too big for Clen but Artur and Bivol are? It makes no sense. I mean if Clen can KO the "best LHW in the world" then surely he shouldn't have a problem fighting the second and third best ones when they both hold world titles and he would gain a ton more credit beating both than he would all these fighters down in that graveyard division who stand zero chance of beating him on points because you literally have to spark him out cold for a hour to come away with a draw. If Loma can routinely give away 7-10lbs if not more and 2-6" in reach up at 135 why can't Clen give away between 1-7lbs in weight and 2" in reach to Artur and Bivol? It makes no sense, especially, like Serge said, he has already sparked out the "best LHW in the world." Bivol offered to fight him for a packet of peanuts but he wanted no part of him even though he's a natural 168 pounder too who weighs about the same as him.

I've been championing Beterbiev for years but his career has been frustrating as hell. He could have been an ATG at LHW but time is no longer with him.

Which Canelo win was better than Beterbiev over Gvozdyk? GGG can't count because he was clearly given a gift.

He should aim to fight as often as possible. Forget letting fights, “marinate”, which is dumb logic to begin with.

I think that's what Beterbiev wanted from day 1 but promoters never want to put too much work in it seems.

The British system works very well. Put the propspects on free TV and fill out small arenas. The commercials and sponsors get their air time and end up paying towards the fight and because its low cost:high reward it encourages frequent fights.

Look how frequently Anthony Joshua fought between 2013 to 2015 before Sky Sports PPV took over.

Promoters are only one part in this game.
Not likely boxers managers and boxers promoters, their teams wished to put their fighters vs Beterbiev, especially when he was not older than 35.
Why to risk, if their boxer will lost fight vs Beterbiev, then after this earning potential with this boxer will be reduced.
Everyone in this game thinks a lot what might be earned with boxer after 6 months, 12 months, 18 months. Potential, impact on potential, risk/ reward.

Now he is older, when he will look enough old, damaged or not enough fresh, post injury etc they more likely will consider to put their fighters vs him due to classical thing: name and surname on resume.
How old and is he in shape and prime doesn't matters for a lot of posters in forums.

I don’t see anything special in deines to trouble beterbiev. I’ll be surprised if he’s not been stopped in 6 rounds.

regards to bivol I don’t think he’s any better than Gvozdyk and see him losing to beterbiev the same way

Ohh, still there Beterbiev who is considerably older than Gassiev and bearing in mind his weight class where boxers usually gets out of prime earlier than in CW, not alone HW division appeared tough.

Gassiev after WBSS final decided to move up in HW division, later get ****ed up shoulder and look how long time we didn't had hired about him. Only now looks that he he again is active.

And even if it did count.. Fighting a 35-36 visibly aged GGG is pretty shameful
