Mouth watering to see a man mentally collapse and quit running out of the ring crying?

    Not my type of fight.

Ruiz Jr.'s already done it, so I'm not sure how impressed I'd be.
He has to do better than the fat Mexican, or I'll call it an poor effort.

Joshua might box beyond what we've seen before though, and that's what Fury needs to prepare for.

The best I've seen AJ box were his first 5 rounds rounds against Wlad, still fairly close rounds and Wlad stands in front you, not on Fury's level.

He won't find an edge to contest Fury with.

He's going to try and employ the Wallin gameplan but to lesser effect.

Yeah, Joshua's a good boxer and can move a bit now that he's staying around 238 pounds, but he's been facing plodding old men.
Put him in with Fury's reach and movement, not sure what he'll do.

I am going to post on every thread.

I expect Fury to win, but Joshua is a thoroughbred and a warrior and an upset would not surprise me.

We shall see. Will the long lay off take a toll, or is Fury ready to whoop some ass?

When did former greats clash off in their primes last time?

    Old Wlad - Young Fury.
    Old Lewis - Young Vitali.

    ...

He better, or he'll regret not having a better preparation for the rest of his life.
Giving any advantages to opponents when you don't have to is foolish/arrogant.
The problem with Fury is that he's gotten away with being ill prepared many times due to his talent/determination, so in a way he's overconfident.

Just from what I've seen/heard, he was badly prepared for:
McDerm I (partying up to the fight)
Wlad (needed a fat camp, came in weakened)
Wilder I (circumstances there were obvious)

He almost lost two of those and Wlad is rather dangerous. If you keep playing with fire you'll get burned. The margins are never that great at the top of any sport.

For AJ to win he has to come forward and try to pressure Fury. If he tries to sit back and box too cautiously I see Fury picking him off, constantly disrupting his rhythm, then ultimately breaking his spirit.

AJ needs to rediscover his old aggression.

He's proven he's got a chin, there's no shame in getting floored by Wlad, and the way he responded to comeback showed spirit.

Fury doesn't have one punch power greater than Wlad or even Ruiz and neither of those two could KO AJ.

Having said that I'm going Fury by mid -late TKO as I do think AJ has lost the fight in him and has too much going on inside his head

True, but Vlad was even older by then.
