Honestly at his age and after covid I find it hard to favour Povetkin against any top fighter anymore. I pray he looks like a million bucks vs Whyte and surprises me, but his decline has been marked. I'm sad about it because he's always been a very entertaining and gutsy fighter

This fight would come down could Povet get inside, and throw his volume power shots into Deontay's body. If he could, end of Deontay, who would be cut down like a tall tree. If Deontay hit him on the way in though, even Povet's chin would be in trouble.
Back in the days, i would say that Alexander would have imposed his style and win. Right now? Probably the opposite.

Povetkin can bang so Wilder wouldnt even get in the ring with him. Wilder never beaten anyone the calibre of Povetkin whilst Povetkin has beaten Whyte who has much more impressive resume than Wilder.

Povetkin would walk Wilder down and put him on back foo rendering him helpless., Pov would put combinations together and the first time Povetkin lands that left hook Wilder goes out cold or goes all bambi legs and Povetkin would brutally finish early.

Pre covid then Povetkin. Post covid then we don’t know how much it has taken out of him.

I hope so but even if this was reality, this does not changes another, well proven reality: Pov is over the hill and declining since he was 37.

    Pov should had retired then.

The fact that he still managed to win something since he turned 37 just confirms real skills:( level in HW division and how skilled Povetkin despite really old and aging is.

Povetkin was going to steamroll Wilder when they had that fight scheduled. But now, Wilder stops Pov.

Povetkin is poor against tall fighters. He didn't look good at all against Wlad. I will give it he landed a good shot on Joshua, but his punch resistance against tall fighters is poor.

I say Wilder by KO. If the fight happened back in the day when it was supposed to, I think Wilder still would have pulled it off but I don't rule out a Povetkin KO/UD.

Wlad was 37 y.o when he fought vs Povetkin. This was at least not 38 or 39 y.o Wlad.
Klit was smart game vs Pov and he definitely was skilled in clinch game + ofc larger than Pov.

V.s this elephant size 6ft 7,5 in tall Wach Pov preformed better than vs Wlad. Wlad = more skilled than gigantic Wach.

Povetkin KOes him and Wilder says his water was spiked, his costume broke his knees and Povetkin loaded his gloves.

This. For all of his bull****, Wilder is dangerous. Fury showed how to beat him, but you gotta get past that one-two.
