Won the commonwealth title in his 5th fight, won the British title in his 8th fight, now is going for the European title in his 10th fight.

Impressive fast tracking :) similar to Josh Taylor

    Respect to these scottish fighters.

This bloke he’s fighting for the European title is solid, will definitely give us an idea of how good he is.

I think he will beat Guerfi, it is a good opponent for him yes. I think he is more than capable of winning it and going on from there.

Yeah looking at Guerfis record he seems to have been a solid European level fighter for a long time. But Mcgregors ceiling is higher than that I think, he looked excellent in his last fight when he destroyed Ryan Walker

Lost to Kash Farooq though, very lucky with that result.

What's that close fight ( I had it a draw) got to do with this thread. It was ages ago, about 2 years ago. Can we keep it current. Lee is about to become European champ (hes way ahead of Kash who got rocked by a journeyman in his last fight)

He’s away ahead of kash... the same kash that beat him?

Regardless of who you thought won the fight.. Close fights/ 'robberies' happen every week in boxing so what's the point in hijacking every Lee McGregor discussion talking about it. If he beats Guerfi he's definitely way ahead.

Kash beat him an McGregor has been advised to stay away from the rematch for the foreseeable future.

Mcgregor just did a video this week saying he wants a rematch lol. There'd be a clear winner in the rematch that's for sure.

The Kash fanbase is the most desperate I've come across. How much can people cry about a close fight from 2 years ago lol. Mcgregor got the decision deal with it. It's not his fault if you think the judges made a bad decision. Alex Arthur scored it for Mcgregor too.

Mcgregor has a bigger fight tommorow that's what I wanted to discuss.

I’m not a hardcore fan of either and it’s not the first or last time someone has been stitched up on a mtk show.

it was a good solid close fight but it was fairly evident Kash won the fight.

I think McGregor should tear through Guerfi. Seems like Lee will be mandatory for IBF within the next 12 months as I’m guessing he fight Dasminaris afterwards.

It was a close fight in fairness, I thought Kash nicked it but no problem with McGregor having his hand raised either. Certainly no robbery.

Either way, both lads should be commended for taking fights like that so early on in his career and if McGregor becomes British, Commonwealth and European champion in 10 fights then that's some achievement.

Not seen much of McGregor except the Farooq fight...can't tell if he looks like a half decent puncher.
