This content is protected Joshua does enough to edge it but he fades towards the end and Wallin snaps his head back a few times. Joshua's power also has no big impact on Wallin. This was the Haringay box cup final and a more experienced Joshua than the one that boxed Dillian Whyte in his second or third fight. I think Wallin is underrated and would beat the likes of Dillian Whyte and Joseph Parker personally.
AJ doesn`t fight like that now and is far bigger, WAllin wouldn`t last long v Parker or Whyte weighing what he was weighing in this old amateur bout, it means nothing.
Wallin would not beat Whyte or Parker. He is severely overrated due to a slack performance from Fury, causing Fury supporters to big him up to justify for how poor Fury looked during the fight, that should have been stopped.
yeah Wallin is definitely underrated. He hasn't the greatest power for a HW, no ko puncher, but he has a very good jab and nice angles and footwork + some solid speed for a big boy. He's definitely a guy to watch out in the future and personally i agree with the Parker; Whyte statement. Whyte is overrated anyway and Parker is looking so flat since losing a war to Whyte. Not sure what is wrong with him but Parker definitely a fade in the future if he fights decent competition.
Whyte is overrated Wallin is underrated. When Wallin develops a better late fight workrrate he will be very good, he will never have one hitter quitter power but he has enough pop. Whyte is a total sausage who can roughhouse guys like Parker but becomes a pudding against superior boxers. Bet you he would give Whyte a good fight.
I don't really see how Whyte could beat Wallin. Wallin could take everything Whyte has, he's never been down as a pro and his height reach and angles would make Whyte look silly!
Fury definitely was very flat against Wallin and was plodding way more than normal, but even so Wallins footwork was really good, able to catch Fury in between and after shots which was definitely frustrating Fury. I've never seen that kind of footwork on Whyte, Wallin stays very light on his feet for a big man.
Whyte has beaten the likes of Parker, Chisora x 2, Rivas and Helenius Wallin best wins have been beating Breazeale and Granat on points (who Dimitrenko KOed in a round).
Went life and death with Chisora twice, Stick Wallin in with Chisora, Bet he does as good if not better than Whyte. I'm not claiming Wallin is better than Whyte but he's at that level for sure!
I disagree, I think Chisora KOs Wallin and from what I've seen I am yet convinced he is near world level fighters.
Did you see Parkers last fight? I'd pick Dave Allen to beat him on that display. As for Whyte, we might see next week if that KO defeat has damaged him, the jury is out at the moment.
Hahaha OK maybe I went a little OTT. But you get my point? Did you sit through Parker Vs Fa? It was so poor I'll actually started crying middle rounds.
yea i watched it due to parker being my favorite fighter since his debut.. he clearly has dropped a step or 2.. since aj and whyte fights. but he would still need to drop 5 or 6 levels for allen to be competitive lol.
I like Parker, he is a nice man and I was reasonably impressed with him early on in his career, I thought there was something there but he was just missing a certain something, I couldn't put my finger on it. He looked to have decent enough power, decent handspeed, was game, brave but it has just never seemed to all click. Look, maybe we might see something a little different now he will have a new trainer, maybe he needs that change to reinvigorate him. I think people forget he isn't 30 years old yet, a former world champion, so there is still time for him to get it together and cause some problems in the division.
