I'm not on anything. What has he been posting? He seemed all right in the interviews a few months ago.
Considering the lows his dad fell too I'll give him credit for giving it a go himself. Not sure how much cash his dad has left but I suspect it's not that much left in the pot so he should be hungry for it.
Ricky made plenty of money and still has a property portfolio worth a fair few million Campbell will likely inherit at some point. the lad could have chosen plenty of easier careers and has decided to give boxing a go. Is probably being paid nicely due to his surname and is providing for his family. Fair play to him. plenty of casual fans will be happy to watch him fight nobody’s the Tommy Fury way for 10-15 fights and you can be sure he will pull a decent crowd when they go back to Manchester at some point.
Fair play to him. If you want to earn good money in this sport you have to build an audience. I’m sure he’s been in a full camp training hard. let the kid have a go. No need to slate him before you have even seen him throw a punch.
That was his last amateur fight, Feb / March time last year just before lockdown. I know the lad he fought as he was an amateur at the same time as I was (school year below) and he’s 25 and maturing into a man, whereas Campbell is still developing and hitting puberty. There is some truth to what they are saying about Campbell’s style being better suited to the pros. He’s grown up watching his Dad and Uncle who weren’t known for their pure boxing skills. The worry for me with Campbell is that he’s young and clearly not developed yet - doesn’t have his “man strength” yet. That means his mauling style won’t stop everyone and he’ll have to work double hard when he’s in with a boxer. 19 years old is a baby when he’s coming against developed blokes
On no another 10 years of recycled working lad Normal back ground I'm just a regular city fan Blue moon Love oasis will ya carry my wbu belt Don't want a British i ain't fighting a fellow country man I want to keep him on the bread line Ain't interested will pull the curtains
I've not really paid attention to Campbell Hatton's career so this is the first I've seen of him and you'd have to agree that it's a fairly unimpressive video.
Yeh the lad he is fighting is decent like and he has a go so would not usually criticise any fighter amateur or pro overly who steps inside those ropes, but this is different as hes turning pro with a big promoter with quite a bit of fanfare when really hes still a baby both physically and boxing wise, ive seen him box other times on shows in north wales too. He was too good for most he fought at raw novice level, but struggled when stepped up from what ive saw. So good luck to the lad seems a nice lad and that but think theyll have to bring him along very slowly and people shouldnt expect a fast rise from him if ever. Hopefully im wrong and hes improving massively behind doors we will see.
Also as others have mentioned he doesnt quite have that man strength yet so that will help his style once that develops
Wow the hate you have for Ricky Hatton has already transfered to his teenage son who's not even had a pro fight yet
Some really sad ****s in this thread The lads putting the work in and having a go. His name will of course open doors but that comes with added pressure and if he doesn't put the work in, then he will come unstuck. However he has a good team around him and from what I've seen he's putting the graft in. Some absolute whoppers trying to write him off before he's even stepped into the ring as a pro.... far easier ways he could earn a living you soft tarts. He'll be a slow burner given his age but he's had 30+ bouts, takes his training serious... so give the kid a ****ing chance.
so that aint what you're going to hear for the next five years hatton was a total con job manufactured man of the people like his dad niether have nor will ever do a proper days work in thier lives hatton is a detstable cretin
