What do you think is the greatest matchup you can possibly make?

In terms of entertainment, quality of fighters, viewership and attendance.

What is a fight that you would take the time out to sit down and watch from beginning to end.

It’s got to be Frazier v Ali I. The FOTC. Louis v Schmeling II comes in second.

If we’re making fantasy fights then I’d really like to see Joe Frazier vs Evander Holyfield. I’d probably pick Frazier to hammer out a close decision, but what an action packed fight that would be. Both men would be bloody and swollen at the end.

Frazier-Tyson would be an absolute war. Either Tyson nails him early and forces the ref to step in, or Frazier takes him late. I lean ever so slightly towards the latter scenario.

I also agree that Frazier-Holyfield would be a barnburner I see Frazier winning.

Dempsey VS Marciano which I think Dempsey takes with a shocking early (though not one-sided by any means for the duration) KO

A peak Tyson vs Lewis. Go back and forth on this, but lean towards Tyson atm.

Marciano v Frazier would have it all for me. Knockdowns power punching and amazing stamina from each man.

    Came to post this.

You could make more significant matches but none better.

Tyson vs Ali if the criteria is selling the fight and making money. They are the 2 most recognizable names to fringe and even non boxing fans...this is for the money.

the one I would make for me...
    Vicente Saldivar vs Salvador Sanchez

I always thought Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Roberto Duran would have been the greatest fight of all time.

But if Mike Tyson fights a peak Muhammad Ali, people might say, he loses because he got floored by Henry Cooper in his pre title days in 1963, and does not know the fundamentals that Cus D Amato taught, Ha Ha, Lol.
