Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Erik Morales

Marquez....he’s technically superior (IMHO)

 

Freddie Roach always said Marquez was the best of the 3 ( Morales, Barrera , Marquez)

 

Marquez close but clear decision.

 

I always thought so.

 

The greatest match up to never happen. Would have been an absolute war with great skills involved. If they both fought 3 times I can see Morales winning at least once against JMM.

 

Can't point out why exactly but I feel Morales would be the slight favourite to pull out a decision win but it's close.

 

I'm a fan of Morales, but I don't know... Marquez was probably better on a technical level.
Heart says Erik, my head can't quite decide.

 

Marquez..I also have him being the best out of the 3. A truly great fighter

 

I'd pick Morales in a fight that would take a lot out of Eric, he'd drop a rematch .

 

Think because Morales fought with more fire?

Morales was my favorite of the 3 but I would pick JMM to beat him

 

Prime for prime Morales takes it, he's just better all round not that Marquez wasn't very good. Stylistically it was swarmers that gave Morales the most trouble JMM is the opposite of that, think he'd give Erik too much time and space to get his shots off and keep things at long range.
