I hope so. I got alot of respect for fury. Hes like wilder hes a rose that grew from concrete. Gypsy kid born with nothing but 2fists and they both shined in the lights on the big stage and accomplished things that few ever have

I can't see it though. I think Wilder will fight Martin next and then if he is able to beat Martin then the winner of Kownacki and Helenius rematch and then retire.

It will be interesting because Ruiz has the tools to destroy Wilder, but what about his style?

He's a counter puncher that invites you to punch him. You can't do that to Wilder.

He will need to alter his style to offensive rather than just countering, that wont work with Wilder.

If Ruiz goes after Wilder, he'll win IMO.

I agree there is sweet f all chance of this one coming off.

Wilder especially thinks if he waits patiently he will get the winner of the Fury-Joshua saga.
Maybe Ruiz to a degree thinks that he is owed a rubber against AJ aswell.

I think they should get this fight done though. It will generate a fair bit of interest in the states. And some in Mexico and internationally. The winner probably has a bit more bargaining leverage if they can get a fight against Fury or Joshua in 2022
America needs this fight right now. People are chomping at the bit to be free of these lockdowns and live their lives again.

Right now it's like the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. The Brits are having their way with the yanks and taking all the spoils.
The minute men need to step up and get a big fight in the U.S of A.

 

None of what you said about Wilder being 'the 2nd best he in history'. In history? It's a baseless claim.

It was an especially languid day in September when the especially languid fight was finally announced. As the participants ran, Wilder attempted to pun Ruiz. He was quoted as saying, “I caught you in the breeze, Ruiz! That is Covid poison I spit at you! I’ll see you in six weeks, even weaker still.”

 

Even a limited Wilder will jab Ruiz to death. AJ laid the blue print and he's a limited robot.
