    Rewatching the first fight

Sky commentary is such trash, they suck off every British fighter they commentate on. It's horrible. In the midst of a fight and all they are doing is jerking Whyte off and it's not even commentary on the fight in front of them.

Whyte's defence is so bad, when he isn't ready for Povetkin to engage closing the distance he high guards into a shell and dips down, it's so bad lol.

You know what adjustment Whyte should make which will make this fight 10x easier for himself? When Povetkin is in on him, instead of pulling out in a straight line just clinch him...clinch the hell out of him. Problem is Whyte doesn't want to drop his hands for a second against him.

Rewatched the first fight, before those two KDs it was an even fight...not some dominant Whyte performance. Even the KDs didn't look too damaging. But, given that Povetkin just had COVID, it's less likely that he can win...

Povetkin looked shite and Whyte looked roided off his nuts.

This is going to be perfect playbook for Sky, "revenge" etc despte the fact Povetkin is probably still ropey from Covid and Whyte has been in camp similar to Michele Ferrari's in his hayday.

As much as I want nothing more than to see Whyte knocked out again, I’ll put my money on him winning the rematch very early..

Probably not going to watch. Doesn't feel right seeing the post-covid zombie version of shot povetkin getting fed to the home fighter.

All comes down to how much Povetkin has left. If Povetkin can stay in there, Whyte will present him with opportunities to land a big one bang on the chin again. Whyte has been dropped against everyone he has faced at world level (AJ, Parker, Rivas, Povetkin). If Pov can weather the early storm, I wouldn't be surprised to see Whyte chinned again. He gives his opponent chances, and Pov still has the power, even if all his other faculties are a shadow of what they were.

A troll for enjoying world class action for a score?

Cant wait for metcalfe-cheeseman, the pick of the bunch for me. And then the big heavyweight rematch, could be an instant classic.

Watched a bit of the open workout, "imagine him playing rugby" someone said from Sky about Whyte - Switched off instantly.

Whyte is so clumsy and sloppy, Wilder gets some stick but Whyte is equally as bad. I fully expect Whyte to win as Povetkin is done, clinging to the hope that Whyte makes one of his customary mistakes and Povetkin has enough left to capitalise but I can only see Povetkin having 3 competitive rounds in him max.

Can't wait for the Sky/Hearn rhetoric afterwards, Dillian will fight anyone anywhere, most feared fighter, first fight was a fluke etc.

Povetkin with the overhand right. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

It would be just funny if Povetkin does it again. Dillian's reaction, Eddie's reaction, Adam Smith's reaction, will there be another rematch, will Aydamn ever be back etc.

Did anybody spot Sasha on thr pads? He was taking a HUGE step to the right coming in then switching the angle. Will be interesting if he tries this in the fight or its just mind games.

Spot on. Sky replayed the first Whyte-Chisora fight on Thursday night I only watched the last 4 rounds hadn't seen it in years but was left almost in a state of shock at how bad Dill and Del looked - What a couple of absolute puddings - was the thought that came into my head.
They were both plodding around the ring and gasping for air by the 10th, Dill missed so badly a few times he stumbled halfway across the ring and in the 12th he went headfirst through the ropes, was lucky not to have fallen out of the ring.

THAT is the level of fighter Eddie requires us to pay £20 for the privilege of watching. Long gone are the days when Tyson, Lewis, Naz, Hatton and Mayweather were the calibre of fighter that PPV was reserved for, now domestic level small hall puddings are PPV stars.
