I know many like the opportunity to watch classic fights minus commentary. As such, here is the Benítez vs Leonard fight sans Howard Cosell. The video comes from Top Ranks official YouTube channel and while not stellar it still was the one with the cleanest, highest quality video I could find to use after a couple days searching online. To be honest, regarding the fight itself, it's one I'd only watched all the way through once, maybe two-ish years ago, and I just didn't care for it at that time. Sitting through it now, with the opportunity to really pay attention to it (I don't pay attention well when I dislike and/or find the commentary annoying) after putting this together certainly has raised my opinion regarding the entertainment value of this fight. It isn't a fight that now wows and astonishes me by any means, but my level of respect for it 's place in boxing history has improved
Good contest. Wilfred just could not seize command and just when he started to get going, he gets dumped on the canvas. On offense, about all he had going for him was his stare
Well said, but he made Ray miss like no one before or after, at times right hand after right hand. He landed some and Ray didn't catch Wilfredo much but did throw. The last round was great and if I'm remembering right it was a left uppercut that put Benitez on the canvas. Wilfredo said he trained a week or two for the fight.

No, sorry. I can only make these when I come across one that already is no commentary. Usually no commentary fights arent in great video quality (older ones anyway) so I just take that audio and lay it on top of the best video I can find. But I have never run into any of those commentary free. Wish I could, I make a lot with foreign commentary as it is kinda the next best thing to no commentary when I cannot understand them, lol
Well Wilfred can train from here to eternity and he wouldnt win this fight. From what I could see, he was not out of shape and didnt tire in the manner of say George Foreman so I think Wilfred is just making with the excuses.
