This whole thing was a ***** mascaraed. I say it like 100 times, that no one could recover that fast from Covid, and for athletes its even worst. Povetkin was looking shot from the very first minute.
I just don't like to see fighters going out like that. Povetkin should have retired after he suffer Covid and have complications and was hospitalized several time.
That fight was totally needless and it was with forewarned ending.
Just look at how far he was trying to lunging, his legs were totally gone. His speed was gone, his reflexes were gone, and he couldn`t even properly throw a counter punch, and couldn`t even keep his guard up in the very first round. His chin was shot to ****** as well.
His punch resistance was gone long ago to be fair, even in the Joshua fight he was shot.
I think Eddie forced this fight, cause i don`t see a normal reason from anyone from Povetkin camp to want to take this fight.
Maybe they threaten to sue ..... Like who knows .....

As far as Whyte. I think that guy is shot too. He was tired in the first round and looked very scare with every punch 70 years old past Covid Povetkin thrown. His cardio, footwork and hand speed was terrible as well.
I don`t see him doing anything at the HW division to be fair. He will definitely lose to either Joshua or Fury, damn i even think Wilder may KO him cold.

 

Who nex? When is the Wilder fight going to get made.

Povetkin was shot and came for a payday, I don’t think anyone would disagree with that.

Credit to Whyte, it would have been easy to be gunshy after the brutal KO in the first fight but he came out swinging.

 

Money is only one your life value? For sure.
Povetkin did not had bad habits and had pretty nice paychecks even before get eddie kids in the ring with him.


Regards to money talks, you do not box if you love money.
For money earning there is stuff to do business, be an investor etc alike things.

I agree, there are a lot of dreamers about this. When you feel bad and need help, you will even pray God and even if you had not believed in his existence.
Essential workers aren't boxers or posters in internet, I hope they will increase their bills and salary demands till roof to see who is essential and who isn't for our life.
For example suregon in emergency care department shift for 24 hours is more worth for society than Whyte and eddie.

 

I thought he could've if he had something left. But after that first round I was pretty certain this was going one way bar another miracle. Povetkin's physical condition at the weigh ins was in fact a definite sign of his decline.

 

He looked a lot less cagey than Joshua in his rematch against Ruiz.
