Povetkin has been shot for about 4 or 5 years now but I don't get this whole thing about Povetkins legs in this fight. There were occasions where Povetkin was off balance because of the weird positions he was being forced into. The first off balance scene Povetkin was in an off centre position before Whyte swung a hook at his arm. These off balance issues can happen. The second off balance bit Whyte was literally pushing forward as Povetkin was rolling in and out then trying to go backwards. In that case it'd be hard not to stumble backwards. I think the whole Povetkins legs are shot specifically for this fight is overblown. His legs have been shot for about 3 or 4 years and has shown stumbling balancing issues in almost every one of his fights. I just think Whyte was overly aggressive in this fight and Povetkin couldn't really cope with it. Povektin did land some decent shots (right hand Rd 2 or 3). Tbh Whyte just looked trash and sloppy but he was landing some vicious punches... Watching it back... Damn Povetkin has a chin
I hope he just retires and doesn't hang about any longer. Looked a shell off the guy of old and that was before Whyte threw a punch at him.
100% and i've seen a few fights even earlier in his career where he is stumbly... He even had one or two stumbles against David Price...

I watched that fight 3 times.....THERE WAS DEFINITELY SOMETHING WRONG WITH THOSE LEGS....That hook right at the beggining of round 1 should not have caused such dancing that follow there after....There was a strong jab before, that connected but it is hard to believe Povetkin's punch resistance became so bad after those vicious blows by klitchko and later Joshua. I guess we will never now...but there is another but....When you watch two fights it was obvious to me WHYTE looked way better...more jumpy on his feet not as flat footed as in the first fight....He looked pretty much like the old version that was fighting Joshua that later got caught with PEDS...I am not accusing anyone but it would not be a stretch to think that as important as this fight was for WHYTE carrier he might have risk it with some help from Mr. Niddle...Just a quess.....We will never know...
