Well, stoppage after comprehensively winning eight of the nine rounds isn't that far off. Cotto won the vast majority of the rounds and the exchanges. Winning that clearly and forcing a stoppage is a whole lot more comprehensive than losing a 116-112 to an undefeated titleholder a year later.
