Fans love to give their boxing heroes credit for everything win they win. If Pac loses, those same fans will mention his age. Hypocrisy. True fans keep context in mind.
Pretty insane to be fighting arguably the p4p 1 in many peoples eyes by eye test (disregarding the lackluster resume). It might be the greatest win if all time if Pac wins (depending on how the rest of crawfords career plays out). I mean there was Duran over Barkley, foreman over Moore but a 42yr old over arguably the best p4p fighter in the world is something else.
So we should just dismiss the fact that Pac is ancient? Like his age will not factor into his performance in the least? Is that what you're actually arguing?
He would basically b the michael jordan of boxing where hes basically seen as ahead of everyone in his sport by almost everyone
This is a good fight for Pac considering his age. I do question why its not Spence though. Why would Haymon not just feed Pac to Spence if he's going to cash him out, unless Haymon feels its to risky for Spence.
The funny part is that with a different opponent it might be worth talking about Crawford getting older, he's at the back end of his prime himself.
I actually think Pac is the one guy Terence shouldn't switch around with too much. Pac is old and rusty but he has always feasted on other southpaws and he shouldn't have any problems fighting orthodox boxers since he's been doing it his whole career. Crawford should pick one side and stick to it imo.
You're so eager to argue. Read my comment again. I said "true fans keep context in mind" to answer your question. Which means we already know he's old.
I'm not eager to argue at all. But your point was silly. Everyone knows Pac's age is a significant factor in this fight. Don't need context at all unless Pac wins, but that's the nature of a young prime guy facing an old guy.
Pac had a 2 fight deal w/ PBC and he got Broner and Thurman out of it. If I had my preference, I'd rather Pac fight Spence. It's a stylistically easier fight than Mikey and Crawford.
Just a massively lower chance of another Marquez IV ending with Spence, which is why I like it so much better.
