I actually consider Hurricane Hogan not just an obvious step up from Bowyn Morgan, but a tougher out than Jeff Horn and by a bit of a margin. This is an impressive result on paper. (though I haven't seen the footage for myself yet and only skimmed the RBR descriptions, so still clueless about his form & the circumstances)

You must not understand how dire the state of Aussie boxing PPV has been, for eons now. This card, while insanely overpriced, was a relative godsend.

 

You saying that paying $65 to watch a rugby player in his 40s fight some unknown bum for 6 rounds with an undercard full of journeyman with losing records is dire????????????

Most Aussie punters wouldn't know the difference between Kalule-Kalambay and two kangaroos going at it. Actually they would probably prefer the latter.

Thats where these PPV make their money from, the hard core League/AFL fan who moonlights as a casual boxing fan. If there is a market for it, people will continue to push their overpriced product.

Gallen-Browne will probably do double the numbers this fight done.

 

Kalule & Kalambay vs. two kangaroos would be a hell of a tag-team match. I'd pay 100 USD for that PPV.

 

He was 1 of my favorites and I was at a petrol station filling my car couple of years before he retired and i couldnt believe my luck seeing him chatting with somebody , so i hurriedly walked up to shake his hand and get autograph.
He got a bit of a shock as he stepped back obv not knowing who the **** i was lol and i was probably fortunate not to cop 1 from him myself, but he ended up being really nice guy and i just always regret not getting photo with him.

 

He strikes me as the type of guy who'd be really friendly and sound....which is mad considering how absolutely lethal he was in the ring

My kid was couple years old and watched from car and i remember his asking who it was, but he obv wasnt old enough to appreciate or understand at that time my ravings about how good a boxer and athlete he was.
Pretty cool watching fights with him now and he thinks as highly of Tim the way i did Kosta,be something if he turns out even half as good a fighter as his old man was
