Yeah ive gone up to get autographs and had conversations with several former world champs and top fighters,especially when i was younger but we know your a cool "heavily tattooed" guy who wouldn't ever do something as crazy as go up to somebody they respected, if you ran into them in the middle of nowhere.
Typical trolling by you as usual,totally twisting and lying about what i just said.
I never ran up to or interrupted anything, i filled my car i walked up to him on my way to paying and not sure what the issue is

Agreed..you know I don't normally get hyped for fighters who are the sons of legends..but with timmy I'm on board..still really raw but there's alot to like...seems to have inherited his dad's pop technique is a little sloppy sometimes but he's still developing..I look forward to seeing how the rest of his career goes..and if he fought in the UK I'd be there

 

The hate for Tim is ridiculous. He can't do anymore than finish the guy in front of him. Agreed aussie commentors are a bit over the top

Tim does need to travel and start taking out higher ranked opposition

Tim is a bit of a strange fighter. I had a lot of doubts about him when he was starting out. There was literally nothing special about Tim. His speed is average, his power is average and his skills were average.

I thought Horn would beat him when they first talked about a possible fight between the two, but Tim took him out with relative ease by the time they fought.

He obviously been getting better over the years and he's developed a really nasty body attack. His power is not great, but he gets good leverage on those bodyshots. That's what broke Horn and Logan down.

It'll be interesting to see how far he can go. The guy is full of confidence and he's willing to keep fighting tougher and tougher opponents. I'd like to see him fight Lara in the next 2 fights. That will really tell us how good he is.

I think Timmy has always had good power. The issue earlier in his career was his finishing ability, not his power. He would hurt guys early in fights & take control, but couldn't finish them off & get them out of there. He's stopped his last four opponents, all in emphatic style. That's improvement & shows that he's learning on the job.

His power also gets played down in comparison to his dad. That's a bit unfair. You have to consider the possibility at this point (it's just a possibility, not a proven fact) that Junior has inherited much of dad's talent. That talent hasn't been refined & forged in the fires of 270 international amateur fights like dad's was, but the raw material (the talent) that carried dad to the undisputed championship is nevertheless present in the young man. Some of it is, that's for sure.

If you ever wondered how King Kostya would have fared as a professional with a 35-fight domestic amateur career behind him in Mother Russia rather than the 270-fight international amateur career that he had, it might be worth tuning into Junior's career to find out.

The acid test will come when he starts facing blokes who have had extensive international amateur experience (like his dad) & who have also made good progress as professionals. That's a bridge that will need to be crossed at some point but so far so good.
