After seeing Gallen and Browne standing next to each other at the fight last night the more I think Browne is going to clobber him he is just too big and looks in good shape I think Gallen has bitten off more than he can chew.

Safe to say Tszyu is arguably the most accomplished Aussie fighter of the last decade or so? Can't think of anyone who tops his resume. Dominant win over domestic journeyman Horn and now the solid fringe world level Hogan. Tszyu has already begun to step out of his dad's shadow and looks to be on the way to potentially crafting a great career of his own.

There is a few aspects that Tim will probably watch back and improve on. A few times he started to get a bit wild and messy with swinging haymakers, during that it left his chin/head in the air completely exposed to someone with speed and power to hurt him. Which Zerafa with his reach could possibly pounce on it.
When he did tighten his punches he looks crisp and fast. probably a learning experience with the first time having someone like Hogan that moves around a lot.

    * Zerafa says if Tszyu fight doesn't come off he is in line for WBA interim MW Title shot that could pave a way for showdown with Ryota Murata or Eubank Jr.
    * Tszyu camp in talks with QLD Gov with World Title fight at Suncorp with backing of $ 13 m.
    * Liam Paro vs Steven Gago June 26. Gago will cut weight and move down to 140 lbs. Paro keep busy but still avoiding the dangerous Spark.

I noticed this too and obviously agree... I think he was
trying to make a statement in stopping Hogan early and obviously had little respect or regard for his power. We've seen a more patient and poised Tszyu in prior fights and I'm sure his team would take a more intelligent approach against more dangerous opposition. Zerafa is the obvious fight to make next. Another high profile domestic clash and more experience before jumping in with a world titlist - That will come in 2022 I think.

Either way Zerafa gets battered. Don't think he has much chance in any of those lol.

Yes, good fight. I think Wade Ryan, being a southpaw, is actually a valuable asset for Australian boxing right now. It's in the best interests of the sport as a whole in this country for him to be kept active & matched competitively.

If Junior Tszyu were to land a fight with someone like Erislandy Lara or Patrick Teixeira (less likely now than before, admittedly), who are they going to use for sparring with a lockdown on?

There's that Irish Light Heavy who we will get a look at on TV next weekend. Tej Singh possibly. Andrew Hunt & Liam Paro are both very good but are south of Junior Middle.

Two of the best southpaws in the country are that amateur Light Heavy who faced both the gold & silver medalists from the 2019 World Amateur Championships during the Asia & Oceania Olympic qualifiers & the Samoan kid who won silver at the last Commonwealth Games. One of those two has already sparred with Junior & will presumably do so again in future if called upon.

Add an experienced professional like Wade Ryan to that mix & there's probably enough there to prepare Junior for a major fight.

Bringing guys in for sparring who aren't fight active themselves though would be self-defeating. So yeah, keep him active. A fight with the winner of Mahoney v George would be intriguing.

    * Wade Ryan trainer says he improve 30 %. Ryan would be a suitable litmus test for Isaac Hardman.
    * Tszyu has sparred with Conor Wallace the best move for Tszyu was when he went to states in 2019 and did training camp and sparring with Pacquaio as he prepared for Thurman fight.
    * This great move by Ch 10 . Bellator has improved leaps and bounds especially their LHW roster and performance of former Champ Chandler in UFC. Live this Sun.

Did anyone watch the Gal-Browne face off?

I watched like 45 secs of it and had to go out the door.

They looked like they were trading some barbs.

Yeah I saw it it was pretty tame Browne admitted that he was mainly just jealous about how much more Gallen was getting paid then him and also because he is making it fighting 6 x 2 min rounds. Gallen was also honest about that he also doesn’t claim to be better than what he is so I don’t think he deserves a lot of the hate he gets. Browne also admitted to being a bit bitter for not getting much attention for his accomplishments in Aussie boxing.

On another note they brought up Brownes fight with Hoppa and Browne said he was told to take it easy on him but then Hoppa came out tryna take his head off. I actually think that Gallen was taken back a bit about this I think that he was basing some of his confidence on Brownes performance in that fight.

The little bit I saw Gal called Browne out for ragging on Aussie boxing but still expecting his dues.
    Something to that effect.

It was a good idea to have these two face off to build the fight. But I would have preferred they were sitting on backwards chairs.

    * Arum has given the light for Brock Jarvis to fight prime time in the States to fight WBO FW Champ Emanuel Navarette. This fight would be held 2 pm in Aust or in the States. Jarvis should be patient at this point as a fight with the formidable EN at this point could ruin him.
    * Brian Amatruda offered $ 1 M for Tszyu to fight Zerafa. The catch it be held in Melb and offer is for one week otherwise Zerafa will head overseas.
    * Kayo has outbid Stan for future rights to Tszyu fights. Stan charges $ 10 for Rugby and been a flop because of the hopeless Waratah's. Stan hopes to bid for future SBW fights but good to see Aust boxing rating well and commerical interest.

Foxtel has done a great job with the local boxing in recent times. Four big shows in the space of a month with decent fights on all of them is terrific stuff from them. All five of the main televised fights on the Junior Tszyu PPV held some interest. So do all five upcoming fights from the Gold Coast this weekend. The majority of good fighters locally are either with the Rose brothers or Dean Lonergan who both have contracts with Foxtel so that doesn't leave much room for anyone else. Foxtel has competition for the international fights from DAZN.

In other news, I saw the Brisbane News Ltd media was carrying a story about Horndog wanting to return to boxing. The rest of the story was behind a firewall. One of the opponents he wants to fight is Timmy Tool Train. Good luck with that, Horndog. He's still not listening to what we told him to do months ago. How about Jack Brubaker, followed by Joel Camilleri followed by Michael Zerafa in a rubber match? You know, fights you can actually win.

Another name in the mix as a potential Junior Tszyu opponent next up is American-based Russian Middleweight Arif Magomedov. He's been inactive for a while so I thought it was an odd one until I saw he has previously beaten Michael Zerafa. Apart from inactivity, he'd be okay I guess. So any one of him, Michael Zerafa, the winner of Liam Smith v Magomed Kurbanov or Danny Garcia is likely to be next up. The Tool Train will next see action in July.

I'm wondering what weight the Tim v Zerafa offer would be..If Zerafa is wanting it on his terms and be at 160 Tim should tell him to shove it .

If he is the one calling Tim out make 154 or go back under his rock or call Horn out for number 3.
