Amir Khan vs Pac would have been interesting for as long as it lasted. They had a famous sparring session and Khan actually held his own for a bit. Both have amazingly quick hands and Khan is good at fighting south paws so it would been a very entertaining bout before Pac inevitably gets the KO due to Khan's lack of durability. I don't get why team Pac never pursued this fight as it would have done really good numbers in the U.K or the middle east during the peak of Khan's popularity.
Naseem Hamed v Manny Pacqiao at Featherweight. I like Fighters but Hamed was a base, classless little bully.
Terry Norris vs Carlos Monzon/Marvin Halger. It irks me a bit that Norris used to hit so many people after they went down. He made a bit of a habit of it. Lets see how mean he is against two rather cold ruthless middleweights.
Gomez disappointed me as well at times with his in ring antics but he got his beatdown via Sanchez and i'm not sure anyone could have done it better in a GREAT little fight. Perhaps Saddler with his awesome array of filth and power lol
Norris had a mean streak. Nothing wrong with that since many fighters do, but he was a bit of a bully to go with it. I remember him calling JC Chavez, who was 2 full weight divisions lower, a coward for not facing him. He made a big deal out of it.
Agreed but the mean streak included punching guys on the deck and getting other guys with dog shots (Santana x 2) which just isn't overly palatable. There's better ways of being mean. If Leonard wanted to dog it he could have won their fight on DQ ala Santana x 2. Not saying Santana laid down but not saying he didn't. My god could you imagine the hate then.
