    Nigel Benn vs Sugar boy Malinga. Benn knew it too, that's why he retired. Of course, he ended up returning quick enough for Collins. Couldn't get hyped for the fights because I knew Benn was done.

    Tyson vs “BoneClutcher” Smith. Tyson took more breaks and rested his head on Smith when the clinching started rather than going mad dog berserk mode.

    I’ll add another. Russell jr. vs Lomachenko. Loma had two prior fights, coming off a loss and Russell was supposed to win handily. That... uh... didn’t happen as we all know.

    Yeah it's supposed to be the high point, where something is never as good again and, steady decline after jumping the shark. I figured the op just got the wording wrong.

    I always thought Manny was too small for Mayweather but foolishly thought he still had an outside chance and would push Mayweather a bit at least. The fight was over for me when Manny and Freddie were taking selfies with that burger king dude before the walk up even started. Focus much? Then all the smiling at the end of the rounds by Manny was just icing on the cake. He sold his fans out that night and I never purchased another Manny PPV again! Have maybe bought 1 or 2 since then. I really believe that fight did harm to the entire PPV industry.
