I think we've seen the signs of slippage for some years now. They're a similar age, but Herring has the size advantage that Father Time can't diminish. Whereas Carl would be relying on the speed and reflexes which are definitely not what they were. I really hope he can do it, love watching him box, but I think the time he could've done this may have come and gone. :(

Frampton is the favourite (6/4 v 17/10) for a points decision, Herring is the fave for a KO / TKO (4/1 v (6/1).

Herring has weighed in slightly lighter (129.4 v (129.9)

Saw that half an hour ago and thought it's a bit weird that both are odds on? Who's going to bother betting on those odds?

Just took herring pts at 13/8

frampton way too small at this weight, herring not a puncher and frampton seems to have a solid chin so seems a no brainier

also all the talk from frampton is that of a man who knows deep down this is his last fight imo

Basically they’re even and that’s the spread

I am rooting for Frampton of course, though I think Herring will properly win. Looking at Herrings unbelievable skinny body at the weigh in, I think volume body punching is the key to success imo. I think Carl will land some good body shots but will he land enough to win, I dont think so. Carl has never been a volume puncher. But here is hoping I'm wrong. C'mon Frampton

Herring wins this very comfortably in my opinion. Frampton is too small, and is not the fighter he was.

Hoping I’m proving to be talking out my rear but don’t see it sadly.

I think it's landed this way because of them being opposite favourites for points vs stoppage.

Channel 5 are only showing the main event live. They may show some of the undercard fights after if there’s time.
