Mine may be an unpopular opinion but I see Wallin winning the toughest bout of his career here. Whyte has been phoning in performances and I don’t believe his heart is in it anymore. Whyte is looking for a final payday or two and then he’ll retire.
I see it the same. No disrespect to Whyte and the great 1000 day run, but his best days are already past.
Not entirely, but he is a bit past his best. The chin is busted. Not everyone ages the same, and Whyte seems to be one of those that is getting easier to crack. Hence the Povetkin uppercut.
He did not impress me against Brezeale, he certainly beat him thoroughly but Brezeale was in awful form. I don't like to hate on fighters but he was tomato can level at times, and Wallin couldn't get the KO. He had Fury in trouble and lost keep control of the fight, had Brezeale in trouble but didn't stop him, despite his good skill I think there is a weakness here in terms of being able to exploit and sustain an advantage. My guess is Whyte stops him late.
One of Wallin's weak points is that he lacks stamina,in the last rounds he was dominated and Breazeale landed several punches on him
