No. He has the charisma of a dead goldfish. The whole of Matchroom boxing seems to revolve around promoting AJ, so why leave.
Cant see him leaving. Think matchroom take 15 percent of his purse...but they do a lot of work for that money. Sold joshua incredible well. Getting him great deals etc. Take care of everything for that 15 percent. 15 percent of joshuas purse is pretty big....but he gets a lot back for that 15 percent. Be better off concentrating on the boxing and letting eddie take care of the rest.
Nah, Eddie probably makes his life pretty easy. Why take on the extra stress when you are already a multi millionaire pulling in more millions every fight
He might make contracts with boxers to be under him and promote them etc. Hire some managers and get % from boxers and media $.
And take on even more stress and distractions and get splattered like last time? Just leave it to the professionals. Hearn only takes 20% and does not shaft his fighters. He's the most popular promoter out there for a reason....
Audley Harrison never became champ solely due to distractions from promoting himself. And of course he came up against all-time-great Wilder who stopped his second wind.
