I doubt Pac takes a beating, im not sure Crawford is going to want to get into a firefight with pac, instead i think he tries to fight a smart strategical fight and opt for a points decision against pac. If he tries to go to war, it could be a mistake as pac is still quick enough and carries enough power even at this stage to hurt crawford.

I think Crawford would go after Pac like Hearns went after Duran. Crawford is quick enough to go after Pac from a comfortable range behind his jab.

Thurman's durable and he has the will/fire to survive, come back, and battle hard. Porter couldn't hurt or drop Thurman. Danny, who's a bigger puncher than Pac for single shot power, couldn't hurt or drop Thurman. Thurman's been hurt badly by Collazo (body) and Lopez (who has very good power and landed a perfect shot). Pacquiao hurt and dropped Thurman throughout the fight.

You forget that little ass southpaw Gamboa was outboxing Crawford early and hurt him BADLY. Pac had Horn out on his feet and hurt more badly than Crawford did.

Pacquiao has hurt or dropped every single opponent he's fought including Floyd. Pain will come to Crawford. It's inevitable. If he's aggressive, it could be to his peril. And he might not be able to withstand shots from Pac if the Gamboa fight is any indication.

Old Pacquiao will be the fastest, hardest hitting, most awkward, experienced, crafty, and durable fighter that Crawford's ever fought.

Pacquiao would be fighting 2 people in the ring and Crawford ain't the bigger concern — it's Father Time.

Father Time would definitely be a factor IF Pac fought Crawford but I think Crawford would be a bad matchup for Pac at any stage of his career. lol at Pac hurting Mayweather. Hold on to your dreams. In the real world, Pac hasn’t stopped anyone in years and there is little chance he could stop Crawford. However, there is a good chance that Crawford beats the crap out of Pac. Pac has definitely slowed down and Crawford is the wrong guy for this version of Pac to get in the ring with.

I'll believe it when Pac say it's happening. Top Rank been on a lying spree of late! If it does happen, Crawford going to make Pac retire!

Sometimes I wonder if you've actually seen the fights.

Floyd came forward and/or stood right in front of Cotto/Maidana/Guerrero/Ortiz/Berto/Canelo and was FAR more active and offensive in those fights. Hell, he was walking those guys at points in the fight. Yes, he easily beat Horn, but was robbed.

In the Pac fight, he was stunned twice. That's why both times after he got nailed, he literally went to the ropes to reset and get his **** together. Never did this in any of his fights ever.

    More facts.

Floyd clinched Pac more than any fighter.

Floyd landed the lowest percentage of punches on Pac out of of any fighter he's fought.

Floyd told his bodyguard that Pac was the hardest he's ever been hit.

If Pac didn't hurt him, why didn't he stand in front of Pac or try to walk him down? Pac's the much smaller fighter, was brutally KO'd by JMM, and was injured and near-shot.

    Even more facts.

The version of Pac that fought Thurman was a far superior fighter to anyone on Crawford's resume in every way — skills, power, speed, ring IQ, defense, offense, experience. He would beat everyone on Crawford's resume with ease.

Like I said, right now, 65-35 in favor of Crawford on youth and size. But there's a very real possibility that Crawford gets found out in this fight.

lol He didn’t beat Horn. I agree with you on the odds. The way I see it, Pac can squeak by with a split decision at one extreme and Crawford stopping Pac at the other extreme. More than likely, Pac will survive but take a beating. Let’s hope the fight is made. I feel silly making a lot of conjecture about a fight that probably won’t happen.

Just stop it. Gamboa did NOT hurt Crawford bad. Did he catch him....yes. You also forget that within another minute Gamboa was down twice and that Gamboa was down 5 times in the fight. As for "outboxing him early" Gamboa did not win a round after the 4th and the 4th was an even round in all likelihood. You are entitled to your opinion but NOT to rewrite the facts.

Pac went through hell to get to his payday vs De La Hoya. These dudes just want a shortcut. Ducking and dodging.

Crawford's legs buckled and he retreated. Take your own advice and don't rewrite this fact. Not even Crawford denies that he was hurt. Timestamped it for you, too.

These are all facts, agree with the odds too.

Crawford can get wild and stick his chin in the air, I think Pac can seriously hurt him.

Pac needs to turn the clock back though. Last he looked very good was Bradley 3. His absolute peek was vs Cotto but he was still 90% all the way to JMM 4 where he was looking great but JMM pulled it off.

Now he’s a shadow, including the Thurman fight.

People saying Crawford would have been tough for Pac at any point, lol. Pac is Gamboa x10, the aggressive Pac from Cotto/Hatton fight would have ran over Crawford.
