Nigel McClellan would be an absolute beast, but sadly they haven't build that hybrid in a lab yet. Edit: TS made an easy mistake and combined their names, but he's fixed it.
Good fight, GGG hasn't fought anyone with that power or viciousness before I think GGG struggles with him and Nigel Benn
I don't disagree. But both the other guys have history of having been in the ring with true power punchers at the weight, with admittedly mixed results. I love GGG but looking back at his career has he got wins against fighters better than McClellan and Benn? (Not including Canelo 1) even if you do include Canelo 1, is Canelo a tougher fight than prime Benn or McClellan? Jacobs? No way
I'd favour Golovkin to grind him down. If anyone can handle GMan's power it's Golovkin. I think Golovkin was simply a better all round fighter, partly down to the fact he had a better corner and amateur background. GMan would no doubt have his moments just like in the Benn fight but I suspect for most of the fight he's eating shots and being slowly taken apart.
Depends which "ggg" shows up? The one that could knock out heavy weights, or the one who had a close against a fighter who once fought at 147
I think if this will be GGG in his prime condition not current aging version, he had more problems with Nigel Benn than with G man. 1. Benn had better body and head movement for defense and was more difficult to hit him properly than to hit G man. I think Nigel Benn in prime shape most likely will win vs prime GGG.
Benn is just on a completely different level to Jacobs and Derev fight wise. Both those guys have decent fundamentals but Benn had much more power, speed and aggression.
And was tamed. No one had Benns aggression in boxing except Mike Tyson. He lands on either and they are simply in huge trouble but lesser fighters went the distance with Benn and Jacobs is a very big middle too. If you had good IQ Benn struggled
