I really believe Lennox would have beaten Wlad and i think Lennox knows it 2!!!

Wlad doesn't put himself into position to eat those uppercuts like Vitali did. Also, it was several rounds in before Lewis landed those. Lewis would NOT have escaped that 2nd round, had that been Wlad who had him on ***** street. Wlad is a much better finisher, and has many more punches than Vitali. Vitali himself said that he Lewis would not have made it out of the second round against Wlad if he had been fighting him that night. Wlad's chin isn't nearly as shaky as people pretend. Lewis' uppercut wouldn't be a big factor in his fight against Wlad, because Wlad is a different type of fighter. Vitali, who was pretty inexperienced in big fights at that point... was wading in with his head down on several occasions, asking for that uppercut. Wlad, would be much more upright, and keeping himself on the outside. On the inside, he would be tying Lewis up. Vitali was in the bad habit of laying his head down and forward during that fight... which he corrected afterwards.

There's no question Lennox has been knocked out twice, so saying he beats any ATG is moronic at best. If you can't beat ****ing Haseem Rahman, and Oliver McCall, you CANNOT beat any ATG's. :good

True, but Lennox was taking massive amount of punches in the first rounds and wlad hit much harder than Vitali.

Wlad is a very good champion but (yet?) not an ATG like Lennox Lewis. I agree that Wlad is the better boxer of the two brothers, but matched against each other i think Vitali wins. Vitali is even bigger than Wlad, and he would force Wlad going backward. Vitali would make it a brawl, and Wlad would not be able to play it safe here. Do you guys really think Wlad wins a brawl vs. Vitali ? I dont.
Lewis - Wlad -> Lewis the favorite, he was just awesome. I never found him boring except maybe in 1 or 2 fights. Wlad would off course have his chance with his great powerpunches, but all around i think Lewis has more tools, is technically more sound, moves a lot better, delievers his shots a lot more naturally and can also end every fight in every second. I also think Lewis had more ring smarts and would outhink Wlad.
Remember, this post comes from a Wlad supporter, but im realistic enough to see that Lewis would beat him at least 7 out of 10.

 

Agreed, Lewis would stop Wlad. Regarding Vitali it would be as close as it was in the 1st.
