My only hesitation about this fight happening is the statement that Pac made that his next fight will be Legacy-defining. There's nothing that either Bud or Spence can add more to his legacy. Only fights I can see are: 1. Bud and Spence first unifies the WW division, Pac gets his first unified, undiputed title. 2. Mcgregor wins his next fight, and they fight. Pac gets his first title over an MMA champ. Stupid but yeah. 3. Go up a higher weight and fight GGG.
If it is Pacquiao and if it's June 5th then isn't this short notice for building this fight up? Wouldn't you want to promote this fight better over the next few months. June 5th isn't that far off.
As we push deeper in to the Spring, I believe less and less this fight is going to happen. I really hope it does though!
