    Come on people. Watch the finish again! The stoppage was correct. Vargas was gonna be knocked out before the ref jumped in. You people seriously gonna argue that was not gonna happen. He was buzzed and taking clean shots!

    Referee stopped that far too early.

    Re watching it now and Vargas should have been given more time, even though he wasn’t firing back. He wasn’t out on his feet.

    Also robbed the fans of seeing a knockout- as Benn was about to potentially land the knockout

    I don't think it was that bad. At least Benn was landing with power shots unlike Calzaghe against Manfredo.

    Benn looked very quick, very sharp, take nothing away from him there, accurate too.

    But Ill say this, if Benn was on the other end of those punches, the referee would NEVER have jumped in, NEVER.

    Too many unanswered shots landing. Should have defo took a knee to put a pause to the onslaught. Had the ref not jumped in then Vargas was probably willing to take another 10 heavy blows before thinking of going down
