    This.

His got that persona where people will either love him or hate him but most important they will watch him fight.

Johnny nelson saying benn would beat Porter is laughably bad and pure bias.

Sure but the first few rounds are always dangerous against Khan. The hand speed is still blistering especially in the first few rounds.

Only Crawford and his immense ring IQ knew how to time and overcome it.
Benn has nowhere near that level of ring IQ.

Benn is not that big either. He is over estimating his power.

Rick kid acting the bad man. See it a lot when they mix with rough kids. This is that but on a bigger scale. Benn can fight now and looks good so I suppose some will say he can get away with it. Thing is though as soon as he gets to fringe world level, bad man is getting hurt.

 E-Hearn should make the Six-toed Lego Hair freak a big offer to come over to the UK to fight him

Probably but Hearn made out as if it’s a dead cert.

    i enjoy his chitter chatter.

Maybe im older than alot of you guys, but i was a huge fan of his father, and honestly, if you closed your eyes, you'd swear it was Nigel speaking, that mad, arrogant crazy fearlessness, i think its great.

Plus he came in to the music his dad came into for Eubank one.

**** it, im on the bandwagon.

that's what I was getting at. Benn's fought no one remotely elite or with great explosive punching ability or blistering hand speed

Shields in 26 and Marshall is 29.

Marshall was almost 21, Shields was just turned 17.

The fight happened in May 2012.

Benn vs Avanesyan seems the next logical fight to make.
    Avanesyan stops Benn imo

Standing there scowling, biting his lip, growling at Hearn, was unbelievably cringe.
If I was Hearn I'd throw the clown to the wolves. Smash right through that charade.

Well...don't think -1 and +1 is a huge difference but yeah of course both were still young back then. But if you watch both girls in 2020 or 2021 i think it's pretty clear to say that Marshall would give Shields a whooping.

And it's pretty obvious that Shields hasn't improved a lick since then. She's actually one of the worst boxers in the sport. She uses her burly size to her advantage, that is all, and she doesn't have that going for her against Savannah.

Avenesyan would be a great fight for him next, i think Khan is a big fight but not so much of a challenge for Benn. Porter and Broner are very good fights but I don't know if Benn belongs in the ring with them yet. If he beats an Avenesyan then yea he does.
