Nah, I don't necessarily think so, I think most are just reflexively writing off Castano's chances, because either they've never seen him, or haven't paid much attention to him when they did. Or just making an assumption that it's a typical by the numbers easy win type of opponent.

I really enjoy Castano - but I think he's a pretty big underdog here because:

    a) I don't see him stopping Charlo
    b) Charlo is the A-side of the fight; so he probably gets the benefit of the doubt from the judges.

He's embarrassed a couple really good 154 lb guys. I definitely thought he should have been given the nod over Lara. He's really aggressive and his workrate throwing his power punches (which, sadly, aren't very powerful) is very impressive. Both Soro and Lara were in deep holes by mid-fight - though both did rally somewhat in the later rounds.

I would actually favor Castano to be ahead on an (honest) card - up until the time Charlo finally catches up with him.

Castano is too small for the weight division.

Charlo will break him down and win by stoppage in the later rounds.

Just seen some of Castano here, he honestly looks undersized and feather fisted for a guy who throws a lot of punches. I highly doubt he stands much of a chance.

In some ways he reminds me of derevyanchenko of his division, only less skilled and slower than him.

That's seems the likeliest outcome. I think Castano is going to be difficult for Charlo to adapt to in the same way that he was for Soro and Lara. He's probably going to build a bit of lead on Charlo before the latter's power is brought to bear.

Good to see Charlo expanding his tastes. Thought he would be stuck fighting the usual PBC recyclables.

This is an easy win for Charlo. Castano does not possess the attribute necessary to beat Charlo, i.e. power. Charlo breaks him down stoppage in the 9th.
