Ruiz gets floored, then wears Shavers out with his quick hands and powerful combinations in 4 rounds or less. Just way too durable and skilled for Shavers outside a punchers chance and/or Ruiz being out of shape.
I like Ernie's chances. He's lasted with much better fighters. Ruiz isn't going to show him anything he hasn't seen in Holmes or Ali. Especially if it's the same Andy who showed up in the rematch with AJ.
Earnie Shavers on a good night has a puncher's chance against 90% of every heavyweights who ever lived, but on a bad night, he can lose to (probably) 98% of them. Ruiz , much better than Shavers in all departments apart from power, stops Earnie.
I think Andy gets buzzed early and possibly even dropped but if he’s in shape I think he wins on points and nearly takes Shavers out a few times in the later rounds.
