Well, he has also beaten another big puncher Lemieux, who goes below Eubank in my charts. Is Lemieux also a domestic level fighter, in your opinion?

 

i think he means the levels within the world level fighters. imo, there is canelo, spence, crawford, mikey, loma, inoue, and several smaller fighters, and then theres everyone else. among the everyone else, lemieux and eubank jr are at the bottom of the tested list.

As I've mentioned before, I think a properly motivated and focused BJS outboxes Canelo. If he wins by about 6rds, then it will be a split decision victory for Canelo, anything less, and Canelo gets a prepaid scorecard 5-6rds decision.

Its a shame, but money talks.

 

I'd be very surprised if Canelo managed to knock out any version of Saunders

 

I’m a fan of BJS but the criticism is warranted. He’s never faced an elite opponent and Canelo is elite. I like BJS’s style and think he will avoid a KO but my only hope is that this is a good competitive fight. It’s hard to look good against a slick southpaw and BJS is slick when he’s motivated. Looks pretty motivated for this one as he should be.

Interesting contrast in styles. Fight fans should be excited for this one. Hope we get a legit decision in the end.

That was not an impressive performance from ol' Billy Boy. He looked absolutely terrible toward the end of the fight flopping all over and clinching like a wet rag in a twister.

I Canelo wins by UD but a KO/TKO is the next likely outcome of the fight.

 

He hasn fought often or even at a high level for years

 

Its hard to KO a fighter when they are running, which is what I expect Saunders to do.

 

Canelo is more of a counter-puncher than a hunter. I don't think BJS will need to run at all. He will just move in and out as he does. Assuming Billy Joe is the best version of himself - the Canelo fans will be very surprised of what kind of a close fight it will be.
